  1. oh lovely! and here we are moving into autumn (or fall as you americans call it!) its still quite warm.... trees haven't started to get their autumn colours yet - but days are definitely getting shorter and the mornings cooler

    enjoy the new bloomings!

  2. Really lovely! What is the plant in the first photo? Is it a close up of the palm flowers? Gorgeous, anyway. Anna, that spider... I keep seeing it out of the corner of my eye and then it vanishes. Just like the ones we have here.

  3. What a beautiful flowering quince. That's a lovely shade of pink against the railings in the background. Two photographs that quickly remind us of the scale of the country you live in Anna. From the desert to the lush Spring garden look in one quick leap! Lesley

  4. Dreaming of this, thanks for these from the still frozen white world. And Anna, love the spider beside me as I type, thought it was on my screen and tried to brush it off !

  5. Ronnie, Happy autumn! I wish a happy calming weather after the summer's rain and flood drama.

Carol, the yellow cluster is indeed the palm's blooms. It's something magical that happens in the afternoon light and I LOVE photographing it up close...

Lesley, it is indeed a BIG country! With my back and forth in New York i am reminded continuously. Still freezing temperatures where I am now and warm, sunny, in the 80s back in Texas!

Liz, I wish I could give you some of the spring I am enjoying in this part of the world...but soon you will have it up there too...

Thank you all for commenting; it feels so nice to be chatting with friends from allover the world simultaneously!!!
As for the spider... I am so glad you like it!
